Same but Different - red & yellow, 2007
Triptych Reduction linocut 76 x 28cm each panel The Same but Different series was inspired after visiting Japan in July 2006. Windmills form a repetetive Australian reference amidst vivid colours used commonly throughout Japan during their Summer Festival. I found many similarities between the two landscapes regardless of their obvious and many differences.
